Walking stick: jeweled walking stick, silver knob in the shape of a milord worked in tourchon, with finely engraved and gilded parts. At the top of the knob, a miniature painted in enamel on porcelain of Saint Luke is set. The Pre-Raphaelite-style image of the evangelist, , wears the loose robes and flowing hair of an apostle as he works on his gospel. An example of a Grand Tour object, a discovery for the aristocratic gentleman looking for a glimpse of history and a splendid souvenir. Ebony wood shaft with metal ferrule.
