Two wooden sculptures depicting the head of Medusa and the head of a man who is petrified by her gaze. Above a rectangular base in ebonized pine wood. The two faces, finely carved, show the Medusa with wings and two twisted snakes. The other, the man’s head with a terrified and suffering look, with his mouth open in the act of screaming. Pine wood. Italy late 19th century early 20th century.
