Walking stick with candle holder system, with black bovine horn tip. The cane is made of light colored Malacca (Rattan) wood. The handle is made of gilded brass, hexagonal in section, engraved with geometric motifs. The end part is hinged and opens to reveal a wick inside, on the upper part of the stick there is a tragic mask. Signed Gustave Serrurier-Bovy, architect and designer, dealer and manufacturer of forniture in Liege. Opening of the Maison Serrurier-Bovy in 1884 in Liege. Opening a branch in Paris, in The Hague, in Nice. Liege, Belgium, circa 1910.
