Painted porcelain pipe, with opening bowl, depicting a man with a hat, lying down and embracing a barrel of Alsatian wine from Metz, with his mouth attached to the tap from which the wine comes out. On the lid, a monkey sits, looking at it. The long mouthpiece, connected to the stove, is a branch, perforated inside, made of cherry wood, one part left bare and the other smooth. Germany circa 1880.
