Scandinavian Ink Decorated Treen Wood Fish Shaped Snuff Box. The fishtail becomes a bird’s head with an open beak. This Scandinavian snuff box was made during the mid to late 19th Century. The box is carved from treen wood and is pen-worked, stamped, and ink decorated. The lid is hinged. It has developed a good color and patina. Sweden end of 19th century.
