The square frame is made of mahogany with a flat edge between two lines. Then the central decorative motif is made of embossed and chiseled metal, finished with gilding in pure Liberty style. Sculpted and engraved in bas-relief, the sequence of clovers is embraced by the inflorescences and stems, enriched by gilding. The background is entirely chiseled. The internal side of the frame has a wavy moved profile. In the center, there is a circle bordered in light color which contains a virtuosic embroidery work with a sequence of branches and flowers. Inside the dedication ‘Pierina al suo Marino’. Pierina to her Marino). The center is occupied by a circular window underlined by geometric embroidery and a light-colored border. Inside it is a watercolor depicting the two doves of love in flight holding a ribbon to which the two wedding rings of love are threaded. Italy circa 1900.
