A Specimen from Wuderkammer: a branch of blue Madrepora (Heliopora Coerulea). The Specimen, with various examples of shells, is mounted on a column-shaped wooden base with gilded parts and light blue painted parts. Three feet in the shape of a goat’s hoof hold the whole thing up. Italy around 1880.
