Two wooden sculptures depicting a bishop and a cardinal, attributed to the sculptor Francesco Bertoz. Active in Rome in 1693 and then in Padua and Venice from 1719 onwards. Above a late Baroque base, richly sculpted and carved with a scroll on the front, the two moving figures partially covered by skins and drapes depict a bishop and a cardinal. Pine wood. Venice about 1730.
