The group of 9 sculptures is made of 800/1000 silver, enamel, and a base of green Alpi marble. The base is square, rises perpendicularly, and has rounded corners. On the front of the base, a cartouche describes the individual infantryman’s origin and role. The sculpture is made of solid 800/1000 silver cast and finished by hand with chisel and burin. Each soldier is in a different pose and wears the uniform of his regiment and his country. The colored finishes are obtained by using enamels.
