Art Nouveau walking stick: T-shaped knob formed by a striated agate cylinder, of a bright amber colour, partly, in the central area, caged by crossed ribbons in an asymmetric pattern, depicting a motif typical of the Art Nouveau style , which recalls floral racemes. Ebony wood shaft, bovine horn ferrule. Signed C.G.Halberg. Halberg was a fine Swedish goldsmith and jeweler whose main shop was in Stockholm. Known for fine workmanship of silver and other metals. Halberg was appointed jeweler to the Swedish court and at the beginning of the 20th century was probably the most important Swedish company in the jewelery sector. Stockholm, Sweden, 1901.
