Chain seal in silver vermeil, garnet and carnelian, England 1870.
The seal features an oval carnelian board with a beveled edge, virgin. This is set in a straight invitation cushion which continues as an inverted basket with repeated geometric patterned curb in relief and pods gathered from filigree curb. Above the scene of a knight in Renaissance dress with a cup raised in a toast and a greyhound. England circa 1870.
