A set of five botanical models depicting in numbered sequence the development of a vegetal embryo. Made out of hand painted plaster, the models are mounted on a wooden base. T. Gerrard & Co Ltd, Pentonville road, prepares, technicians and modelers of London were involved, among other things, in biology, osteology and entomology. They moved to Preston, Angmering, Sussex as Gerrard & Haig Ltd in 1970’s. Later they were acquired by Griffin & George, before that firm was itself taken over by Fisons Scientific. London, UK, 1930.
